Credit Repair Disclosures

Credit Repair Disclosures

Federal law requires credit repair organizations to make certain disclosures. Here they are, in plain language.

You have the right to dispute information yourself, for free

You do not have to pay anyone to repair your credit. You can obtain free copies of your reports from AnnualCreditReport.com and dispute inaccurate information directly with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion at no cost. You may also contact a nonprofit credit counseling service. CreditFixRS exists to do this work for you, carefully and persistently — but paying us is a choice, not a requirement.

No advance fees

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule, we may not and do not charge or collect any fee before services are fully performed. Our first-work fee is billed only after work on your file has begun.

No guaranteed results

We cannot and do not promise that any specific item will be removed or that your credit score will increase by any particular amount. Anyone who guarantees a specific outcome is misleading you. Accurate, verifiable information cannot legally be removed from your credit reports.

Your right to cancel

You have three business days to cancel your agreement, in writing, for a full refund. In addition, our service is month-to-month and you may cancel at any time.

Written agreement required

Before any work begins you will receive a written agreement that states the terms, the total cost and your cancellation rights.

We are not a law firm

CreditFixRS is a credit repair organization and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. For legal questions about your rights, we recommend consulting a consumer-law attorney.
